Although we all take safety precautions in our day to day life, there is every apprehension that emergencies could be occurred at any time. For this reason, it is important to educate about First Aid so one can be prepared to act if any untoward incident takes place.
Similarly, Indian Red Cross Society, J&K UT is continuously making its efforts to create awareness amongst the people of every age group by giving them proper timely First-Aid training so that they can minimize injury and future disability in any disastrous situation.
Similarly, four days First-Aid Training Programme was organized for the employees of M/S RVS iGlobal w.e.f 28th Aug., 2023 to 31st Aug., 2023 at RVS iGlobal- RVS Informatics IT Private Ltd. Narwal Bye Pass Jammu.
During the various sessions, Dr. Kavita Nijohn Verma and Dr. Aasia Noor, Medical Officers, from IRCS elaborated on Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with first hand practical learning sessions, methods of handed fractures, rescue and transportation of patient and use of local resources during disaster along with practical field activities. Mrs. Kanchan Devi, Sup. Pharmacist, Ms. Nazia Bano, FMPHW, Sh. Ravi Kant Magotra, Sup.Pharmacist elaborated on wounds and basic first aid equipments, poisoning, snake bites, stings situations. The training was assisted by and Vironica Marwah, Field Officer.
The training was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Rohit Khajuria, General Secretary, IRCS, JK UT.
